So you're probably wondering, "What happened to Polaris?"

When a star gets older sometimes it goes through a process called a nova or supernova. This is when the elements in a star's core go through a chemical change, usually fusion and then explode outwards into the universe. Sadly, yesterday, this happened to Polaris, the North Star. It's a sad event to lose the North Star, but I believe it still exists, just in a different form. The spirit of the North Star will never die, even if its coporeal body no longer exists. It is a well documented star and this supernova will go down in history and get people more interested in astronomy.

It is the request of this author for this to be the Franco Supernova.

Or the Franconova for short.

The North Star has Supernovaed.

It no longer exists. I don't know how this happened, but it did. There is no North Star anymore. Stars are not constant. They exist for only limited amounts of time. The North Star no longer exists.
